Leipzig`s 1st Parametric Design Workshop initiated in collaboration with Prof. Henning Rambow of the CAD department at the HTWK Leipzig (FH) in Germany was a four day intense digital design and fabrication event for international Master students. During the workshop students designed and developed digital models and explored the potential of sheet folding and fabrication using a laser cutter. This event was dedicated to explore techniques and concepts of parametric processes from conceptual formulations, to design development, to final fabrication, as instruments for an architectural exploration using Rhino Grasshopper.
